Classes Bee classes are a good way to learn about solitary bees and how to invite them into your yard and garden. I offer classes throughout the year at various locations.
Private workshops for your family, friends, or garden club are also available. |
Garden Visits I can help you plan for a nesting house on your property, help you install and maintain it, and even help you identify the bees already enjoying your flowering plants.

Harvest Parties When the flowers die off and the bees stop flying in the fall, the fun with native bees is just beginning! Bring your filled nesting tubes to one of our harvest parties to open them and see who has been enjoying the pollen in your garden. We also prepare for the release of the next generation in the spring. This is also a time for swapping extra cocoons with your fellow beekeepers.

Event Tabling Farmers markets and garden expos are great places to spread the word about solitary bees. I come equipped with nesting materials, cocoons, bee specimens, and live bees (when possible) for hands-on learning. Nesting materials and books are available for purchase.
Monarch butterflies are available for observation July through October. |
